Where is maraudon located in wow
The dungeon has two entrances; one where the players are starting close to Noxxion and one where the players are starting close to Lord Vylentongue. The dual entrances make this dungeon very unique, and meanwhile forcing the players to agree on where to start.
The dungeon was released in the early days of World of Warcraft , and the artistic look was very unique at that time. Later, in The Burning Crusade expansion pack, three new dungeons were added which contain similar art direction and themes - namely the Coilfang Reservoir dungeons; Underbog , Slave Pens and Steamvault.
The Nature Resistance Hunt When the 40 man raid dungeon Ahn-Qiraj launched, is was necessary for guilds to acquire a fair amount of nature resistance equipment to be able to withstand the many poisonous damage sources, and since Maraudon featured a high amount of nature resistance based item-drops, numerous high-level players started to continuously run through Maraudon to get their desired nature resistance items. He uses stealth and has two bodyguards.
Noxxion Noxxion Summons lesser elementals to his aid, and is immune to frost damage because of his elemental nature. Razorlash Razorlash Nothing special about Razorlash. He has two bodyguards, but they all go down pretty quickly. Meshlok the Harvester Meshlok the Harvester Meshlok can be found at the top of waterfall. Celebras Celebras Summons a lot of trees to his aid, so focus fire is key. Landslide Landslide He is one of the toughest bosses in the dungeon - both in terms of damage and durability - and is generally disliked by players due to his stun abilities.
Tinkerer Gizlock Tinkerer Gizlock This crazy goblin uses his inventions against you. He goes down pretty quickly, but beware of his fire-breath. Upon death, the players will be able to loot his rather unorthodox equipment. Rotgrip Rotgrip A gigantic alligator who's roaming the water at the bottom of the instance.
Most players engage him on their way out for extra loot. Knock Away. Summon Theradrim Shardling. Fatal Bite. Princess Theradras. Dust Field. Repulsive Gaze. Blade of Eternal Darkness. Princess Theradras' Scepter. Elemental Rockridge Leggings. Noxious Shooter.

Comment by Completed the second half of Maraudon today with a 2-man group consisting of a 46 prot paladin and a 42 ret paladin.
Everything went smoothly; no deaths, no bubbles used. It took about 2 hours from the portal entrance, killing the 4 bosses from that location to the end, but a ish Paladin duo familiar with the instance could do it faster.
Comment by for people lvl you should get a healer and tank for this dungeon or just do it the easy way and get a level 80 to run you through :D if you want to get that epic item you will need to go through it a couple of times before you get it. You open to large stone doors, and follow some of the winding paths into the instance. There are 2 entrances into it. I believe there are 5 alliance quests that lead here.
Three are in three desolace, one inside Mauradon outside instance, on the way to orange , and one from the center tower in theramore isle in dustwallow where jaina proudmoore is.
I suggest start with purple left side first, as it's the easiest, and working your way around to orange. It's actually one huge instance, but there are three entrances, one of them being a portal taking you almost directly to the main she-boss ms stitches lol. You can do it with a lesser group, but you'll need the core classes for them warrior, mage, priest. This instance has a lot of good drops, but some of them are pretty rare.
I suggest that after you're done with quests portalling straight to Princess to do landslide, princess, rotgrip, and tinkmaster for the best drops. Comment by Thottbot Maraudon is located at 28, Found this NO where online so I hope this makes someone's day!

What is a pally to do? I ran into a lower level paladin and he had her two handed mace which looks awesome btw from one run. Blizz needs to make this drop more often. Comment by Thottbot The lowest level quests in this are something like level 42, but as people have said the princess level Depending on the skill of your group, the makeup of classes, and how well geared your group is, this can be done even as low as level 46 I've seen a pally tank this at level 46 , perhaps lower if you have someone higher level in the party.
A level 47 mage is on the low end of being useful throughout the instance, but it is certainly doable. Comment by Thottbot This is just a fun dungeon to run; good drops, quests, and xp. I'm a level 53 feral druid and the staff you get for killing the last boss is great casting gear when I get stuck being the prime healer.
I like inner mara the best because of the mobs you kill and the setting but both sides are pretty good. Comment by Thottbot I got the staff to let you into inner mara, and as a joke, I said, you could be teleported to the wrong place and die.
The portal worked fine, and we all dropped from the sky into the water, except for our mage, who continued to drop until he hit the bottom of the lake, where he died. I spent the rest of the instance convincing him that it wasn't supost to happen, and that it was intended as a joke, but really did happen. Once you've got the quest you need to hit up two bosses inside Mara to get the items. That was so UN! You Saved Me! Second time's a charm and he does a ceremony to make the rod. As I understand it the rod allows you to portal to about halfway through the instance.

Comment by Thottbot Did this as a 42 priest very low for this instance, by the way, and difficult with the amount of aggro I would get from being a healer and substantially weaker.
However, with a 55 warrior, 51 rogue, 47 druid, and 51 hunter, we did fine. Most mobs are easy to handle if pulled properly. Patience is the key here - waiting for patrols to make their away around the many loops will save you from being attacked from behind while engaged with other enemies. The basilisks are little trouble if the healer is far enough back, where he will not be sleeped. Rock elementals are also weak, but they fracture and make many small elementals.
Bosses are fairly simple in the instance; the Princess can wipe you if your party does not stay well against the wall. This allows the healer and ranged DPS from being tossed out of range of their targets. The main tanker only needs to keep their back towards the wall as well, but farther out, so they are not thrown into the middle. This will allow the healer to use the mana efficient Prayer of Healing.
Rotgut is simple, but with a catch. My second party lost two after drowning. During the course of a battle underwater, you must remember to breathe! Tinkerer drops a decent two handed axe, for those two handed folks. Comment by Thottbot He is right after the princess. GO to the left side of waterfalls and jump!
We usually just wait for him to swim by right there. He is a huge crock. Nice drops as well. Got some sweet leather boots from him - for a rogue. Good luck. Comment by Thottbot This instance can be done entirely both orange and purple sides, then the final section in about 3 hours, with only a little practise, taking a minimum of 7 bosses during that time, for a minimum of 8 blue drops.
Ive done it all with a team with none above 49 four 49's and a 47 , and ive also done it with a team of 46 hunter 49 hunter 49 lock 49 priest 50 warrior. Princess has a nasty aoe attack that does medium damage to all within range, and bumps all away from her also.
TNW on doomhammer can do a princess run final four bosses accessed with staff in about 40 mins. Comment by Thottbot Ok, Maraudon is very long compared to any other instances up to this point. It is not easy to leave and resummon another person. Pleasefor the sake of everyone else playing join only if you are prepared to stay on for several hours.
