Why is god faithfulness so important

As a new mom, there are days when I feel like there are not enough hours in the day to get everything done. I am balancing caring for my daughter, working, and serving in ministry. Each new day is another opportunity to start again to place my trust in God and focus on surrendering my circumstances. We all have mourned something: the death of a loved one, loss of a job, friendship, relationship or identity. In times of loss or mourning, it is natural to become distant, discouraged or disenchanted with God.

God will comfort your spirit, and you can overcome with Christ as your focus. In , I lost my grandmother and I was devastated, having more questions than answers.

God will also comfort you beyond human understanding. The comfort that God offers helps us through adversity. It allows us to continue to move forward. Finally, it provides reassurance and rest for our weary souls.

At times, life has a way of weighing you down and knocking the wind out of your sails. We all have experienced seasons where we are depleted within our own strength and feel weak. God will strengthen you for your specific assignment and the journey ahead. When you are weary, God will provide you rest. You must first acknowledge that you need to depend on God more. Being vulnerable is contrary to society that teaches that you always have to be strong.

Many commentators believe that he wrote Colossians in close proximity to Ephesians, in that the Colossian epistle would also be delivered to Colossae by Tychicus. Colossians contains an epistolary aorist passage similar to the one under study.

Note Colossians — For I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts; and with him Onesimus, our faithful and beloved brother, who is one of your number.

They will inform you about the whole situation here. Each passage from the two epistles not only refers to Tychicus as a characteristic faithful man, but actively illustrates that very same thing: Paul, who was unable to go because of his imprisonment, sent Tychicus as an apostolic emissary to these churches on his behalf.

How could the Gospel possibly progress in a geographic sense while he remained in prison if it were not for faithful teammates who would go and travel in his place? Tychicus personified Proverbs and Today, fruit packers manufacture a cold snow if you will: After being picked in the field, they immediately douse produce in icy cold water in order to impede its deterioration.

The idea is that a good messenger preserves the message of the one who sent him. The first mention of Tychicus is in Acts Of Asian descent, he had been chosen by Paul to take the relief offering to Jerusalem. Therein was the start of a beautiful relationship; Tychicus was not only faithful , but this passage also informs us that he was available and teachable: these are three concomitant characteristics for being used mightily by God.

Are you faithful , available, and teachable —or just one or two of those, if any? Now note one particular means Paul used to evoke faithfulness , availability and teachability: Paul was collegial with his partners in ministry.

Commentator Ellis says,. This is significant. It is not as if Paul paraded around in some robe like some ministers do today.

Nor did he sit up front in the churches he founded in some extra-large chair—as if he was somehow above those he ministered to. That is not biblical Christianity my friend! Rather he had a collegial relationship with those whom He discipled and partnered with in ministry. Even though he personified apostolic authority, his leadership style was not one of pulling out the org chart.

Nonetheless, collegiality is an indispensable biblical-based component of effective leadership with its inherent risks and it greatly aids developing faithfulness and motivation. Being collegial to your staff works not only in the advance of the Great Commission in ministry but it will work for you as a leader in your office. That entails incredible privilege and awesome responsibility. As we live a new life, a transformed life, we become faithful to the call to be his children, followers of his Son.

One of the aspects of sanctification is purification. God wants his children to be holy. That is part of his special call on our lives. We are to be faithful to do our part to live that holy life. He will empower us as we endeavor to be holy. Our lives must reflect the glory and the purposes of God.

Faithfulness means we are constantly aware of who God is, what he values and what he is doing in the world. We become faithful to that mission every day. Throughout scripture, we clearly see that compassion is of paramount importance to God. We become blind to the distinctions that society uses to categorize people and instead look beyond race, gender, sexual orientation, wealth or nationality.

God has used many different people to be leaders. Have you ever felt like your egregious feelings, fears, and distrust towards others are being controlled not by you but by another entity?

She lives with her twin brothers, mother, and younger brother Charles Wallace; however, her father vanished under mysterious circumstances. Then, her whole life modifies when she meets three mysterious women who Charles Wallace claims to be his friends. The three women, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which, bespeaks that they know the whereabouts of her father, and they take Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin to a different planet.

Not be ignorant to other things but rather be open to new ideas. A prominent factor in the writing of these guidelines was religion and a personal connection with God. Keeping track of moral autonomy was expected from all members of society of any socio-economic standing in order to be at peace with their spiritual self. Not only was religion used as a means for guiding thoughts and actions, but behavior as well, specifically men towards women and women towards men as well. The role of man was to be.

Love, Leadership and Legacy was written to inspire, encourage and motivate people to embrace godly leadership. Thoughtful examination of scripture shows that God has a plan for each of us and He desires for us to live and lead for His glory. It will be obvious to the reader why he 's so willing to share his life in this way--it 's because he desires to see people let God help them win at this game called LIFE.
